Horseless Carriage POV Ride – Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Full 4K Ride from Town Square to Cinderella Castle
When is the last time you rode the horseless carriage at the Magic Kingdom?
Main Street, U.S.A. is more than just the entrance to the most magical place on earth. It is a living tribute to Walt Disney’s vision of turn-of-the-century America. While many guests rush past the shops and charm to get to their favorite attractions, the Main Street Vehicles, including the horseless carriage, continue to offer a peaceful and nostalgic journey through the heart of the park.
On a recent visit to the Magic Kingdom, I was lucky enough to catch the red horseless carriage waiting in Town Square just as I arrived. I quickly boarded and filmed a full 4K POV ride from Town Square to Cinderella Castle. The ride lasted about four and a half minutes and gave me a whole new appreciation for this often-overlooked experience.
It was a very busy Saturday morning in June, and the crowds were thick. The driver had to honk the horn several times to encourage guests to move out of the way. Many people seemed to meander right into the path of the vehicle without noticing it at all. At times, it felt like a very slow version of Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, complete with near-misses and puzzled looks from distracted guests.
There was plenty of Main Street charm to enjoy during the trip. The music, the movement, and the architecture all came together to create a relaxing and classic Disney moment.
