Claude Coats: Walt Disney’s Imagineer, the Making of Disneyland Book Preview

Claude Coats was one of Walt Disney’s original imagineers and had a hand in almost every early Disneyland attraction, especially the dark rides. David A. Bossert released a new book chronicling Claude’s work at Disneyland (and includes a look at some of Claude’s personal art). I was fortunate enough to back the Claude Coats: Walt Disney’s Imagineer, the Making of Disneyland book on IndieGogo and received an early release copy.

The book is subtitled From Toad Hall to the Haunted Mansion and Beyond.

What’s Your Favorite Disneyland Dark Ride that Claude Coats Worked On?

Reading about the early days of Disneyland is always a treat, especially in regards to the first imagineers. The author, David, has a sturdy track record of producing excellent titles about the Disney Company. If this book is half as good as the Oswald and Weber books, then we are in for a treat!
