Bowser’s Library at Epic Universe
Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge is one of the premier attractions at Universal Epic Universe. It’s located inside a massive show building with a queue that harkens to the Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland. One of the surprises in the Mario Kart queue was Bowser’s library. Yes, Bowser has a library in his castle, and you might be surprised by the titles.
Check out this extremely rare book that was in the former Splash Mountain attraction at the Magic Kingdom and this book from the new County Bear Musical Jamboree.
Let’s check out as many of the titles as we can! (Taking the pictures while navigating a new queue was it’s own challenge.)
- Strong-Arm Your Way to the Top
- Exploring Thwomp Ruins
- A Toad for All Seasons

The book on this table is surrounded by several notes:
- Lunch with Iggy and Roy 12pm Tuesday

Here’s a close-up of the open book page for the Airship Owner’s Manual.

Which Was Your Favorite Book Title?
I didn’t catch every title during my first walk through Bowser’s Library—snapping photos while moving through the queue was its own challenge. Wait times varied throughout the day, but late afternoons offered shorter lines and better photo opportunities. I’m looking forward to future visits where I can take my time and uncover even more of the clever (and hilarious) details tucked throughout Bowser’s Library.
