Carowinds Food Festival Coming Soon!

Taste of the Carolinas, Carowinds signature food and wine festival, is set for weekends starting April 9. I enjoyed the festival last year and I couldn’t wait till this season!

Check out my review of the 2015 Taste of the Carolinas.

Guests will be able to purchase and sample cuisine from seven Carolina regions: Asheville, NC/Mountain Region; Upstate SC Region; SC Lowcountry Region;  SC BBQ Region; Outer Banks, NC; Lexington, NC; and Charleston, SC. Plus, wine and craft beer lovers can get a more intimate tasting experience during sampling events with wine and craft beer experts. Foodies can also learn cooking secrets from some of today’s top chefs as they host cooking demonstrations. FOOD NETWORK STAR, Damaris Phillips, will kick off Taste of the Carolinas on Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. as she gives guests a fresh take on Southern cuisine inside of Carowinds’ Harmony Hall. Phillips is the current host on Southern at Heart which airs on the FOOD NETWORK.

What goes better with food, wine and beer than live music! We’ve got a great lineup of some favorite Carolina artists including the Jeff Luckadoo Band, Tony Barnes and Back Porch Orchestra.

Lots of deliciousness, celebrity chefs, culinary events, beer and wine pairings, music performances and more- all at the place where the Carolinas come together during Taste of the Carolinas! For complete details and to buy tickets, visit: All appetites are welcome!

Food and beverages for Taste of the Carolinas are not included with park admission and are available for an extra fee. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.

Carowinds debuted the world’s first intra-active 3-D digital attraction, Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare: 3Z Arena in March. In addition, guests will be able to celebrate the culture of the Carolina coast at the all-new Carolina Harbor Waterpark, which opens in May. With over 50 rides, shows and attractions, Carowinds is the perfect recipe of fun for the entire family.
