I posted some blurry screenshots from the Walt Disney World Tencennial television special that aired in 1981. Michael Crawford at Progress City, USA shared the video on his Youtube channel. I captured a few more screencaps that show a younger (31) Michael Keaton acting as a bellhop at the Contemporary Resort. A link to the video is at the end of the post.
Resplendent in orange, Michael Keaton shows off why he was given the Oscar nod. (You can also see Dean Jones, Michele Lee, Dana Plato, Ricky Schroeder and Eileen Brennan.)
He does stand out on that red carpet, doesn’t he. Notice who’s approaching in the background?
A rather typical Michael Keaton pose.
Not to shirk any of his duties, he does manage to grab the luggage…
…all with a smile on his face. Then, like any good story, a disaster!
While Mickey and Goofy look on, Keaton is caught checking out the guest as she walks by. Unbeknownst of the creeper action happening behind her. In the next scene, Keaton drops all of the luggage. Sigh.
